Our Mission
ARF's primary mission is to rescue animals from city animal kill shelters. For more than 20 years we have been caring for homeless pets and finding them new homes. We are non-profit, relying completely on public funding. The majority of our money is spent on veterinary bills. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, given a physical, and tattooed (except for kittens) for identification. We are foster-home based to give our rescued animals a loving environment until we can find them a forever home.
We need and appreciate your generous donations. We also accept donations of materials such as dog and cat food, animal bedding, collars, leashes, food bowls, dog and cat toys, and animal treats. All donations are tax deductible!

We will be showing our wonderful homeless pets all over town the next couple of weeks. Check the ARF calendar to see where we will be and when. We have some great dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens that are longing for a place to call home. To adopt more of them and save more from kill shelters, we try to show them in all parts of town. Please drop by and see if you don't fall in love with one of our sweet, sweet babies!

Would your Girl or Boy Scout or Campfire Girls or Boys troop like to help us? Please consider a dog food drive. We could use bags of dog food or canned food. Treats are great too! Having a birthday party and you want to help us? Ask your guests to bring dog food instead of gifts to be donated to us. Our hungry rescued animals will love you for it! We appreciate your donations of kitten and puppy food too. Bring any donations to our booth at the 41st Street PetSmart on Saturdays or call the ARF line to make other arrangements.
Without your generosity, we would not be able to rescue dogs from the city shelters every week and give them daily meals and yummy treats.
THANK YOU!

IS YOUR PET AT RISK?
You could be sentencing your dog or cat to serious medical problems by not spaying and neutering. Click here to learn more about being a responsible owner and doing the right thing for your beloved pet! |

Found A Stray?

ARF does not pick up stray dogs, cats, puppies, or kittens. The City of Tulsa will pick up strays and some other rescue groups might assist you. Go to TulsaPets.com for a list of area breed and rescue groups.

Wouldn't you like a friend to pal around with this summer? We have quite a few who would fit the bill, but here is a trio who are ready to warm your heart and liven up your summer.
| Meet Charlie! |
 |
Are you someone who appreciates classics that never go out of style? Then you can appreciate this classic gray tabby. Charlie is a baby -- born in April -- and he is quite dapper and charming. He is the type of gent who appreciates a good neck rub and cuddle.

| Meet Hendo! |
| Hendo is a great guy with a terrific personality. He is a skye terrier and he's about 6 years old. He likes to "converse" with you...or at least try...and he gets along well with other dogs. He is housetrained and ready to light up somebody's life.

| Meet Doc! |
 |
How about teaching an old dog some new tricks? Doc is about 7 years old. We rescued him from the Broken Arrow shelter. He is a dachshund/beagle mix and a wonderful guy. So often middle-aged or older dogs get passed over -- which is a big mistake! If you want a low-key pet who has sowed his wild oats, Doc is for you.
